Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Sparkify Technologies (“Sparkify Tech”, “we”, “us”) handles payments, cancellations and refunds for services ordered through sparkify.tech. This policy is intended to be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of our services

Sparkify Tech primarily provides custom digital services such as landing-page design, funnel setup and related implementation work for real estate developers, promoters, brokers and rental teams. These services are intangible, delivered digitally and usually tailored specifically to your project, brand and campaigns.

2. Project start, retainers and scope

A project is generally considered “started” when one or more of the following occur:

  • We confirm your order in writing (email or WhatsApp); or
  • We receive an advance payment or retainer from you; or
  • You approve a funnel / landing structure and we begin actual work.

Before work begins, we may share an outline of the agreed scope (for example: number of pages, sections, variants, timelines). Any changes requested after this scope is finalised may attract change fees or a revised quotation.

3. Refund eligibility

Because our work is heavily customised, we generally do not offer full refunds once work has started. However, we recognise reasonable situations and apply the following guidelines:

3.1. Before project start

If you have paid an advance or retainer but we have not yet begun work (no design, copy or code created), you may request a full refund of the amount paid, less any applicable gateway or transaction charges.

3.2. After project start but before first draft

If you cancel after work has started but before the first draft or preview link is shared, we may, at our discretion:

  • Deduct a reasonable fee for time already spent (strategy, structure, research, internal work); and
  • Refund the remaining amount (if any) to the original payment method.

3.3. After first draft or delivery

Once a first draft, preview or live version has been delivered, we do not normally provide refunds. At this stage, a substantial portion of the work is complete and our commitment includes revisions and support as agreed.

4. Non-refundable fees

The following charges are typically non-refundable:

  • Domain registration, SSL or hosting purchased on your behalf;
  • Third-party tools, themes or plugins purchased for your project;
  • Payment gateway fees, platform fees or bank charges; and
  • Any completed work delivered in the form of designs, copy, code or assets where you have already received the files or links.

5. Quality concerns and disputes

If you are not satisfied with the quality or direction of the work, you agree to first:

  • Share specific written feedback within a reasonable time; and
  • Allow us at least one revision cycle to address those concerns.

Most issues can be resolved through clear communication and revision. Refunds based solely on subjective preferences (for example, “we changed our mind” or a change in internal strategy) will typically not be granted after work has been delivered.

6. How to request a refund or cancellation

Include your name, contact number, project name, payment details and a brief explanation. We will review and respond within a reasonable period, typically within 7 working days.

7. Chargebacks and disputes with payment providers

Initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us may be considered a breach of the agreed terms. We reserve the right to provide documentation of work and communication history to dispute unjustified chargebacks.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable laws. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, you agree that the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this policy, in addition to any other forums as required by consumer protection or other applicable laws.
